Laser Dentistry
One of the most exciting inventions of modern dentistry is in the field of lasers. There are currently three types of lasers: Lasers for diagnosis, lasers for soft tissue and lasers for hard and soft tissue. We are proud say that we use all three types of lasers.
Patient Safety
To protect our patients and team, our staff wear masks, non-latex gloves, glasses, and clean over-garments. We strictly observe all Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OHSA) guidelines and American Dental Association recommendations. All surfaces in the treatment rooms are cleaned and disinfected after each patient. Whenever possible, disposable, single-use items are used to ensure your safety. After each use, the instruments and handpieces (drills) are disinfected in a biosonic cleaner with an anti-microbial solution for 15 minutes. They are then bagged and sterilized in the Autoclave at 250ºF and 15 PSI for 15 minutes. We store all instruments in the glass cabinets until they are used. For your safety, all water used in our office for dental treatment is distilled water.
